Well, this is it, my last day at work. In two weeks time I jet off for Melbourne to start out on my journey.

Right, it's 8am and the sun is shining here in Melbourne. After a nice 23 hour journey (during which I felt quite smug to have secured an emergency exit seat with about 3m leg-room) I've finaly made it! Not seen any of those sharks or deadly spiders my mum was so worried about yet though...
Was greeted at the airport by someone holding a sign saying 'Gypsy Dave'... I felt right at home.
